All the above helms have now been notified of their place for the Worlds in Weymouth.
Two helms who qualified have relinquished their places, allowing the first of those helms who did not qualify but asked to be considered for a place to be included. We currently have three other helms seeking a place. They will be considered on the first come, first served basis as allowed for in the rules.
In addition, we may be allocated further places as the host nation, depending on how many entrants come from other countries. Therefore anyone wishing to be considered, who has not already done so, should contact the Hon Sec as soon as possible.
The BDA Worlds Committee will be making a visit to the WPNSA later this month. This will allow us to recce the ground we shall be using, meet some of the full time team at the academy and to asses the facilities. The web site is alive and we are looking forward to putting on an excellent racing regatta for our fellow international Dragon sailors. All UK fleets can play their part and anyone wanting to help or seeking additional information is encouraged to speak with their fleet captain in the first instance.
