In January of this year Tim Tavinor joined Lawrie Smith and Ossie Stewart in becoming the first British crew ever to win the Dragon World Championship when they snatched victory in the closing moments of the final race in Melbourne, Australia. The British contingent put in a good showing at the Cannes Dragon Grand Prix this past weekend with Gavia Wilkinson-Cox, crewed by Mark Hart and Christian Videbaer leading the regatta overall for two days before finally finishing fifth in her brand new boat. Ivan Brandbury, crewed by Martin "Stavros" Payne and Will Willets, won the fourth race of the series and finished thirteenth overall in the hotly contested sixty five boat fleet. Read more »
