At
the French Riviera , even in wintertime,
Dragons
continue to spit fire...................
In 2005 when we started the " HIVER des DRAGON® ", we could
not imagine that such a success would repeat itself during the
2005/2006 edition.
Of course the international program of the Dragon series has
much contributed to this success. As soon as the "Régates
Royales had finished,by the end of September , normally most
of our friends Dragonists would past wintertime and wait for
the next spring season to start with the races organised in Spain and
Portugal .
Because of the extraordinary success of the "HIVER des DRAGON®" the
organising clubs have decided the launch a new edtion
2006/2007 of this winter competition program.

L'Hiver des Dragon® of which the choice of the program has been made by the CANNES
DRAGON INTERNATIONAL association will be organised
this year by four major prestigious clubs.
They have been selected because of their organsing
talents, their reception facilities, their
hospitality, their infra- structure and the quality of their
sailing areas:

Being the home base of
our fleet, harbouring most of our boats.Its Yacht Club, managed by
participating regata
sailors, will ensure the greater part of the races.

With its reputation and
charme will enjoy both national and international sailors,who are
numerous in our series.

A very competent club
used to major sailing events .

Which prepares us a
reception with great generosity.
Consequently, the
2006/2007 regatas of the l'hiver des Dragon, will take place on four
different sailing areas offerintg to
their competitors a vast variety of navigation and tactics.
These regatas, we are
sure, will be once more this year of top quality.
Each registered Dragonist
be be sure that for each race a great number of boats will participate (in 2006
the average was 33 boats)
It goes without saying
that our weather conditions are extra-ordinary, particularly in
wintertime. We have selected for the 2006/.2007 edition the most
beautiful regatas , organised for our series on the French Riviera.
After the 28TH REGATES
ROYALES, which promise to be an exceptional event, the Saint Tropez race will
welcome you from the 10 th to the 14 th of October 2006
The good news is, when
returning from the SAINT TROPEZ races, your boats can stay at Cannes during the
entire winter ( see conditions on request). until the last regata , being
the CRITERIUM OLYMPIQUE OF THE CNA , 24 and 25 March 2007.
Therefore you will
have the possibility to paricipate at other competitons, without additional
preparation of your boat, saving lots af precious time , particularly for
sailors from abroad.

year, enables to participate
at the GOLD CUP in PALMA from 9 to 15 APRIL 2007dragon.class@telefonica.net

LERINS, sailing at Cannes, Juan les Pins and Golfe Juan is possible the whole
year around. whereas sailing in the Gufl of SAINT Tropez has always been an
exciting experience. A great number of Dragonist, among which the best teams ,
have already promised to participte, which will ensure top level races.
The organising clubs
would therefore appreciate to know your participation as soon as possible, be
it partly or for the entire winter season
Considering the limited
parking capacity, Dragonists who have been participation at the previous
editions will have priority of course.
