Enter now for this year’s Edinburgh Cup and South West Championship
Entry is now open, join us at the Royal Torbay Yacht Club and sail on the finest waters in the South West. There is set to be an active racing programme with competitors from around a dozen nations contesting this tightly fought national championship.
The coveted trophy was presented to the class in 1949 by HRH by the Duke of Edinburgh. Since then it has been awarded to the winner of the British Open National Championship for the Dragon Class.
BDA Chairman, Julia Bailey comments on the venue for this year’s Edinburgh Cup: “The Dragon class has a long association with Torquay and we’re looking forward to more first class racing in this top West Country destination. The Royal Torbay Yacht Club has a well-earned reputation for excellent race management in a fabulous race area just off Torquay harbour with superb facilities for socials.”
