In late October we heard of a Dragon that needed rescuing. A Borrenson Dragon that has no spars, sails or trailer and based near Hamble-Le-Rice was is in desperate need of rescue.
Thanks to the wonderful Dragon community the word spread and she was able to find a new home.
Toby Atac from Medway Yacht Club has given this Borrenson Dragon a new hope. There is not a lot known about her and she comes with no identifying documents or builders plate, but she was previously given to Hamble Sea Scouts by someone from the Isle of Wight. If you know any details about her previous owner or where she sailed Toby would welcome any information, please.
It is Toby’s aim to refit the boat and have her back on the water racing. The Dragon, now resting in Rochester, was stripped of all her fittings and fixtures. If you have any Borrenson spare parts or extra fittings that you are willing to pass on they will be very gratefully received to get this Dragon back on the water.
